Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Dollex Agrotech Ltd., Aries Agro, Network People Services Technologies Ltd., Arvind SmartSpaces and FACT, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 9.8 points down at 18122.5 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Godha Cabcon & Insul, Sintex Inds., C.E. Info Systems Ltd., Goenka Diamond and Baheti Recycling Industries Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week lows.

Overall, 21 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 29 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Titan Company, M&M, Power Grid, Maruti Suzuki and UPL were among top gainers during the day, while Bharti Airtel, Apollo Hospital, Hindalco, Tata Steel and Bajaj Finserv ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 17.15 points down at 60910.28.

Traders piled up positions in Fertilisers, Gems and Jewellery, Gas & Petroleum, Rubber and Industrial Equipment sectors, while selling was witnessed in Learning & Education, IT Enabled Services, Services, NBFC and Glass sectors during the day.
