Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 6.39 crore), Zomato Ltd.(number of shares traded: 3.98 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 1.64 crore), Karda Const(number of shares traded: 1.62 crore), ONGC(number of shares traded: 1.34 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 1.29 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 1.17 crore), RBL Bank(number of shares traded: 1.15 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 0.99 crore) and MRPL(number of shares traded: 0.95 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:14AM in Tuesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 107.45 points down at 15724.6, while BSE Sensex was down 350.63 points at 52810.65 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 3.28 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 1.91 per cent), Reliance Industries Ltd.(up 0.82 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 0.65 per cent) and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 0.64 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Asian Paints Ltd.(down 3.77 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(down 3.49 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 2.25 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 2.19 per cent) and Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 2.00 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
