Let's have a look at the biggest movers and shakers of Wednesday's session:

    GAINERS
Spandana Sphoorty Financial: The microfinance player hit the upper circuit of 20 per cent at Rs 474.05 after the company appointed a new interim CEO and CFO, under the guidance of its board of directors.

Vodafone Idea: The telecom service player zoomed 14 per cent to Rs 12.67 following firm sentiments on the counter after tariff hike. Also hopes that the company will attract new investors to pump in money in the debt-laden firm boosted sentiments.

Indiabulls Housing Finance: The leading NBFC was in focus even as it was banned from the F&O segment. The scrip surged 9 per cent to end the session at Rs 250.55.

Fertilizer stocks: Shares of fertilizer manufacturers were on the radar of investors amid the shortage of supplies and a possible increase in subsidies by the government. Shares of Chambal Fertilizers and Chemicals gained 9 per cent to Rs 397.55 while NFL added 6 per cent to Rs 51.65.

MTAR Technologies: One of the latest debutants advanced 7 per cent to Rs 2,257.60 as the company is hosting investor/analysts meet with institutional investors between November 30 and December 1.

    LOSERS
Sonata Software: The IT player tanked 8 per cent to Rs 840.60 as the company virtually held a meeting with the institutional investors/analysts on Wednesday.

Solara Active Pharma Sciences: The smallcap pharma player dropped 6 per cent to Rs 1,190 on the back of profit booking. Investors took some money off the table following a 20 per cent rise in the counter in the last one week.

Inox Leisure: The multiplex operator shed 6 per cent to Rs 381.10, extending its declines. The rise of the Omicron variant has spooked investors, who continued to exit the counter in a hurry.
