    NEW DELHI: PNB(numbers of share traded: 17.24 crore), Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 10.89 crore), Excel Realty N Infr(numbers of share traded: 10.53 crore), Hind Const Co(numbers of share traded: 8.99 crore), Bank of Maharashtra(numbers of share traded: 8.69 crore), Zomato Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 6.29 crore), Union Bank India(numbers of share traded: 6.21 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 5.44 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 4.75 crore) and Rail Vikas Nigam(numbers of share traded: 4.64 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday's market in terms of trading volume.

    The NSE Nifty index closed 36.25 points down at 18307.65, while BSE Sensex ended down 87.12 points at 61663.48.

    On the other hand, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 2.56 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 1.66 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 1.56 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 1.54 per cent) and Cipla Ltd.(down 1.53 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
