Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 39.54 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 36.99 crore), IOB(numbers of share traded: 24.04 crore), UCO Bank(numbers of share traded: 19.44 crore), Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 19.25 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 15.44 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 14.31 crore), Bank of Maharashtra(numbers of share traded: 12.26 crore), Brightcom Group(numbers of share traded: 10.10 crore) and Hind Const Co(numbers of share traded: 9.56 crore) emerged top gainers in Wednesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 186.2 points down at 18199.1, while BSE Sensex ended down 635.05 points at 61067.24.

On the other hand, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 6.32 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 3.01 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 2.19 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 2.10 per cent) and UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 2.08 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
