AgenciesNEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 356.14 points down at 55410.08 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Tanla Solutions(down 20.00 per cent), Anjani Finance(down 12.83 per cent), Advitiya Trade India(down 10.87 per cent), Indo-City Info(down 10.42 per cent) and Octaware Technologie(down 9.98 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 13 stocks traded in the green, while 37 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 108.25 points down at 16522.75.
On the BSE, Zomato Ltd., Gayatri Project, Policy Bazaar, Sterlite Tech and Vipul Ltd hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Kenvi Jewels, Archidply Ind, eMudhra Ltd., Kesar India Ltd. and Gradiente Infotainment Ltd. touched their fresh 52-week highs.
