Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks mixed as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading mixed on Thursday at 10:25AM

Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 3.62%), ZUARIAGRO(up 2.54%), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals(up 1.53%), KRISHANA(up 1.44%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 1.07%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 0.65%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (up 0.57%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 0.51%), Rama Phosphates(up 0.33%) and Agro Phos(up 0.13%) were among the top gainers.

Madras Fertlizers(down 4.77%), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(down 3.75%), Aries Agro(down 2.86%), Coromandel International(down 1.73%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 1.62%), National Fertilizer(down 1.39%), G S F C(down 0.75%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 0.45%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 0.35%) and Paradeep Phosphates(down 0.09%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 54.4 points up at 18236.15, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 207.15 points at 61767.79 at around 10:25AM.

Bajaj Finance(up 1.42%), Axis Bank(up 1.32%), Bharti Airtel(up 1.09%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(up 1.08%), JSW Steel(up 0.92%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 0.67%), Bajaj Finserv(up 0.67%), Hero MotoCorp(up 0.67%), ICICI Bank(up 0.66%) and Hindalco Industries(up 0.61%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Divis Laboratories(down 2.91%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(down 1.6%), Eicher Motors(down 0.86%), Grasim Industries(down 0.73%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(down 0.64%), Mahindra & Mahindra(down 0.64%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(down 0.48%), Titan Company Ltd(down 0.48%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.46%) and Hindustan Unilever(down 0.45%) were trading in the red.
