Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: Adani Ent.(Rs. 5946.14 crore), Adani Ports SEZ(Rs. 4012.77 crore), RIL(Rs. 2643.25 crore), Ambuja Cements(Rs. 2035.14 crore), SBI(Rs. 1729.68 crore), Divis Labs(Rs. 1315.37 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1287.33 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 1183.12 crore), Bank of Baroda(Rs. 1152.93 crore) and Infosys(Rs. 1121.93 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 243.65 points up at 17854.05, while BSE Sensex rose 909.64 points to 60841.88.

In the Nifty index, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 7.87 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(up 6.72 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 5.19 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 5.15 per cent) and HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 3.46 per cent) stood among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 11.71 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 1.66 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 1.43 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 1.24 per cent) and NTPC Ltd.(down 0.81 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
