Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 15.70 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 14.37 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 11.41 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 10.36 crore), Hind Const Co(numbers of share traded: 9.52 crore), Adani Ports SEZ(numbers of share traded: 8.97 crore), Bank of Baroda(numbers of share traded: 7.26 crore), Ambuja Cements(numbers of share traded: 5.83 crore), Tata Steel(numbers of share traded: 4.70 crore) and Adani Ent.(numbers of share traded: 4.39 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 243.65 points up at 17854.05, while BSE Sensex ended up 909.64 points at 60841.88.

On the other hand, Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 11.71 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 1.66 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 1.43 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 1.24 per cent) and NTPC Ltd.(down 0.81 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
