Tata Power shares gain 0.12% as Sensex rises

Shares of the Tata Power Company Ltd. traded at Rs 213.15 on BSE at 01:07PM (IST) on Wednesday, up 0.12 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 190.0 and a high of Rs 298.0.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 26.81 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 7.96 per share and 3.4 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 502,045 shares changed hands on the counter till 01:07PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 68172.57 crore and is part of the Power - Integrated industry.

The scrip has been an underperformer , down 14.71 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 4.86 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 215.45 and Rs 212.15.

Promoter/FII Holding
Promoters held 46.86 per cent in the company as of 31-Dec-2022. FII and MF ownership in Tata Power Company Ltd. stood at 10.1 per cent and 3.83 per cent, respectively.
