    Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange traded 35.5 points, or 0.22 per cent higher at 15,879, signaling that Dalal Street was headed for a positive start on Tuesday. Here are a dozen stocks which may buzz the most in today's trade:

    Airtel, IOC, DLF: Bharti Airtel, Indian Oil Corporation, DLF, PI Industries, Abbott India, GMR Infrastructure, Dr Lal Pathlabs, Kajaria Ceramics, IRB Infra Developers, Bajaj Electricals, Zydus Wellness, Galaxy Surfactants, EID Parry (India), Jubiant Ingrevia, Sapphire Foods India and Minda Corp are among the companies which will announce their earnings today.

    Life Insurance Corporation:
    Shares of state run insurance behemoth will make its debut on the bourses today. The government of India sold its 3.5 per cent in the company in the range of Rs 902-949 apiece between May 4 to May 9 to raise Rs 20,557 crore through its initial offering.

    Raymond: The textile firm reported over four-fold jump in its consolidated net profit to Rs 264.97 crore for the fourth quarter ended in March 2022, helped by a buoyant demand and strong consumer sentiments during the period. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 58.36 crore during the January-March quarter of the previous fiscal.

    ACC, Ambuja Cements: A day after announcing $10.5 billion deal to acquire Holcim's India business, the Adani family has made an open offer to acquire a 26 per cent stake each in its two listed companies Ambuja Cements and ACC from public shareholders.

    Century Plyboards: The forest products player reported a 2.08 per cent increase in its consolidated net profit to Rs 88.75 crore for the fourth quarter ended in March 2022. The company had reported a net profit of Rs 86.94 crore in the January-March quarter a year ago.

    GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals: The pharma player reported a Rs 55 crore consolidated net loss from continuing operations for the fourth quarter. The drug firm had reported a net profit of Rs 4 crore for the January-March quarter of the 2020-21 fiscal.

    Aditya Birla Capital: The leadnign NBFC said Ajay Srinivasan has decided to step down as MD and CEO of the company and his departure has nothing to do with an investigation into alleged irregularities and corruption. Serious allegations of corruption and mismanagement have been levelled by a whistleblower against the company and the top management.

    KEC International: The construction engineering company has won orders worth Rs 1,150 crore across its various businesses. The company said the diverse orders in the Civil business, further strengthen its portfolio diversification and reaffirms confidence in the continued strong growth of this business going forward.

    Greenply Industries:
    The plyboard major reported a marginal rise in consolidated net profit of 1.2 per cent to Rs 29 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2022 over the same quarter last year amid higher revenue. The company faced a squeeze in margin owing to inflationary pressure on the cost front that restricted profit.

    VIP Industries: The luggage marker reported a profit of Rs 12 crore in the March quarter from a loss of Rs 4 crore a year ago. Revenue for the quarter stood at Rs 356 crore versus Rs 243 crore last year. EBITDA was at Rs 33 crore against Rs 3 crore.

    Elgi Equipments: The leading manufacturer of air compressors reported a consolidated profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 73.1 crore for the fourth quarter of financial year 2021-22. In the same period last fiscal, the company had clocked PAT of Rs 43.4 crore.

    SJVN:
    The state-owned firm will develop another hydro power project Arun-4 worth Rs 4,900 crore in Nepal. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the development of the 490 MW Arun-4 hydro electric project in Nepal has been signed in Lumbini, Nepal.
