Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.36% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 10:14AM(IST)on Wednesday in an upbeat market.

Oberoi Realty(up 1.02 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(up 0.83 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 0.19 per cent), DLF(up 0.15 per cent) and SOBHA(up 0.14 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Macrotech Developers(down 2.14 per cent), Phoenix Mills(down 1.56 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(down 0.77 per cent), Sunteck Realty(down 0.17 per cent) and Godrej Properties(down 0.12 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was down 0.36 per cent at 429.25 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 72.3 points at 18125.6, while the BSE Sensex was up 245.53 points at 60901.25.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 30 were trading in the green, while 20 were in the red.

Shares of Zomato Ltd., YES Bank, Bank of India, PNB and Vodafone Idea were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of JTL Infra, TVS Electronics, Indiabulls Enterprises Ltd., Homesfy Realty Ltd. and Shradha Infraproject hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while FSN E-Comm(Nykaa), Anlon Technology Solutions Ltd., Chaman Metallics Ltd., Omkar Speciality and Nureca Ltd. hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
