    Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange traded 40.5 points, or 0.27 per cent, higher at 15,012.50 in signs that Dalal Street was headed for a positve start on Wednesday. Here are a few stocks which may buzz the most in today's trade:

    Vedanta: Anil Agarwal-led Vedanta Resources Plc raised the open offer price for buying shares in its flagship Indian firm to Rs 235 per share, nearly 4 per cent higher than the current trading price. In January, Vedanta Resources had offered to buy up to 10 per cent in Vedanta Ltd at Rs 160 apiece.

    Magma Fincorp: The company will pare its shareholding in insurance venture Magma HDI by selling stake to ICICI Venture, Morgan Stanley PE, a Poonawalla Group firm and other entities in a Rs 525 crore-deal.

    Tata Communications: The government's share sale of 16.12 per cent stake in Tata Communications Ltd received "great response" from institutional investors, DIPAM Secretary Tuhin Kanta Pandey said on Tuesday. The issue was subscribed 2.19 times of base size at a clearing price above the floor price by non-retail investors. The issue will open for retail investors on Wednesday.

    Godrej Properties: Realty firm Godrej Properties said it has raised Rs 3,750 crore through sale of shares to institutional investors to expand business and support future growth.

    Bharat Forge: Auto components firm Bharat Forge said it intends to undertake electric vehicle (EV) business through a special purpose vehicle, which would be a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company.

    Adani Green: Adani Renewable, a subsidiary, won 300 MW wind energy capacity at Rs 2.77 per unit in an auction conducted by Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) on Monday.

    CEAT: The company will invest Rs 20 crore for expanding its exclusive sales and services outlet -- Shoppe -- in Tier-II, III cities as the tyre maker sees "very good" demand from the cities having a population of three lakh and below, according to a senior company executive.

    SBI: Reserve Bank of India (RBI) imposed a penalty of Rs 2 crore on State Bank of India (SBI) for contravention of norms, including specific directions to the lender on remuneration to its employees in the form of commission.

    Kesoram Industries: BK Birla Group company, Kesoram Industries Ltd, said that it has completed raising close to Rs 2,063 crore through NCDs and OCDs to a private placement.

    BPCL: PSU oil marketing company Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) is aiming big to expand its footprint in clean fuel space and looking to set up an infrastructure to tap the growing market for electric and gas-based mobility, an official said on Tuesday.
