IGL shares drop 0.38% as Sensex falls

Shares of the Indraprastha Gas Ltd. traded at Rs 504.5 on BSE at 11:58AM (IST) on Wednesday, down 0.38 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 374.2 and a high of Rs 604.0.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap down opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 25.02 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 20.22 per share and 5.64 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 408,379 shares changed hands on the counter till 11:58AM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 35413.04 crore and is part of the Gas Distribution industry.

The scrip has been an underperformer , up 33.84 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 51.52 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 507.45 and Rs 498.4.

Promoter/FII Holding
Promoters held 45.0 per cent in the company as of 30-Sep-2021. FII and MF ownership in Indraprastha Gas Ltd. stood at 21.88 per cent and 9.63 per cent, respectively.
