ReutersNEW DELHI: RIL(Rs. 2030.62 crore), PayTM(Rs. 1918.79 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1431.71 crore), Infosys(Rs. 970.59 crore), Bharti Airtel(Rs. 967.90 crore), Bajaj Finance(Rs. 871.00 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 807.91 crore), TCS(Rs. 750.34 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 737.12 crore) and HDFC(Rs. 710.59 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Thursday's session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 37.5 points down at 17858.2, while BSE Sensex fell 147.47 points to 59958.03.
In the Nifty index, SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.89 per cent), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 1.87 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 1.62 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 1.60 per cent) and Cipla Ltd.(up 1.29 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 3.11 per cent), Reliance Industries Ltd.(down 2.16 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 2.11 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd.(down 1.50 per cent) and Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.42 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
