Lupin shares rise 0.34% as Sensex climbs

Shares of the Lupin Ltd. traded at Rs 940.0 on BSE at 11:38AM (IST) on Tuesday, up 0.34 per cent from previous close.

The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 856.0 and a high of Rs 1267.5.

Earlier, the stock saw a gap up opening in the morning.

A total of 34,912 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 11:38AM (IST).

The stock of Lupin Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 42756.05 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 25.88, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 3.36. Return on equity (ROE) was at 8.93 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 167 stocks traded in the green, while 333 stocks were in the red.

Promoters held 46.83 per cent in the Lupin Ltd. as of 30-Sep-2021 while foreign portfolio investors and domestic institutional investors owned 15.66 per cent and 24.46 per cent, respectively.
