    Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

    India 10-year bond yield fell 0.34 per cent to 6.13 after trading in 6.13-6.16 range.
    NEW DELHI: HDFC Bank(Rs. 1784.78 crore), RIL(Rs. 1164.05 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1152.35 crore), SBI(Rs. 1093.95 crore), ICICI Lombard(Rs. 998.08 crore), ITC(Rs. 890.33 crore), M&M(Rs. 822.28 crore), HDFC(Rs. 815.96 crore), Clean Science & Tech(Rs. 805.81 crore) and Kotak Bank(Rs. 739.20 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Monday's session.

    The NSE Nifty index ended the session 99.3 points up at 18598.65, while BSE Sensex rose 344.69 points to 62846.38.

    In the Nifty index, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 3.77 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(up 2.56 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 1.93 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(up 1.90 per cent) and SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.87 per cent) stood among the top gainers.

    On the other hand, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 2.90 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 1.18 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.14 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.03 per cent) and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 0.71 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
