Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 15% on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Wardwizard Innov(PP)(up 20.0%), Bharat Road Net(up 19.96%) and Williamson Magor(up 16.5%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.

The 30-share index, BSE was trading 32.17 points down at 52994.8, while the 50-share index, NSE was 30.2 points down at 15768.9.

In the Nifty50 index, 13 stocks traded in the green, while 37 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Orient Bell, Ratnamani Metal, ST Corporation, Kohinoor Foods and Rose Merc. Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week high, while New Light Apparels, Seacoast Shipping, Lasa Supergenerics, BFL Asset Finvest and Star Health touched their new 52-week low during the session.
