    Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange traded 93 points, or 0.57 per cent higher at 16,269, signaling that Dalal Street was headed for a positive start on Friday. Here are a dozen stocks which may buzz the most in today's trade:

    JSW Steel, GAIL, Nykaa:
    JSW Steel, GAIL (India), FSN e-Commerce Ventures, United Spirits, Info Edge (India), Jindal Steel & Power, Ruchi Soya Industries, Astral, PB Fintech, Aarti Industries, Oil India, Sumitomo Chemicals, 3M India, and Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals are among the companies which will announce their March quarter earnings today.

    Paradeep Phosphates: The non-urea fertilizers maker will be listed at the bourses Today. The company's Rs 1,501.73 crore initial public offering of the company was open for subscription between May 17-19 as the company sold its shares in the range of Rs 39-42 apiece.

    Hindalco Industries: The Aditya Birla Group firm posted a 99.7 per cent rise in its consolidated profit after tax at Rs 3,851 crore for the quarter ended March, 2022. The company had posted a consolidated PAT of Rs 1,928 crore in the year-ago quarter.

    ONGC: India's top oil and gas producer said it will invest Rs 31,000 crore over the next three years in exploring the Indian sedimentary basin for fuel reserves which could augment the nation's production in its attempt to be self-reliant in the energy sector.

    NMDC: The state-owned miner said its consolidated net profit fell 36 per cent to Rs 1,812.98 crore for the quarter ended March 31, weighed down by higher expenses. The company had clocked Rs 2,835.54 crore net profit during the January-March quarter of 2020-21.

    Tata Power: The renewable Energy arm of the power player announced the commissioning of a 100 MW solar project for Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company at Partur in Maharashtra. According to the statement, the installation comprising over 4,11,900 monocrystalline PV modules is expected to reduce around 234 million tonnes of CO2 annually.

    Torrent Pharmaceuticals: The drug maker said it has inked a pact to acquire four brands from Dr Reddy's Laboratories. The Ahmedabad-based drug firm has entered into an agreement with Dr Reddy's Laboratories to acquire four of its brands -- Styptovit-E, Finast, Finast-T and Dynapress.

    Cummins India: The engine and power equipment maker reported a marginal growth in its standalone profit after tax at Rs 189.15 crore in the quarter ended March, 2022. The company had posted a standalone PAT at Rs 185.69 crore in the year-ago quarter.

    Samvardhana Motherson International: The auto component major, formerly known as Motherson Sumi Systems, reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 130 crore for the fourth quarter ended March. The company had reported a net profit of Rs 849 crore in the March quarter of 2020-21 fiscal.

    Page Industries: The apparel manufacturer reported an increase of 64.86 per cent in net profit at Rs 190.52 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2022. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 115.56 crore during the January-March period a year ago.

    Piramal Enterprises: The leading NBFC reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 150.53 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2022. The company had posted a consolidated net loss of Rs 510.39 crore in the same period previous fiscal.

    Oberoi Realty: The real estate player reported a 19 per cent decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 232.65 crore for the March quarter due to higher expense. Its net profit stood at Rs 286.85 crore in the year-ago period.

    Muthoot Finance: The non-banking finance company, mainly into gold loan services, reported a marginal decline in its consolidated net profit at Rs 1,006.23 crore for the quarter ended March as core interest income fell. It had registered a net profit of Rs 1,023.76 crore in the same period a year ago.

    Zee Entertainment Enterprise:
    The media major reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 181.93 crore for the March quarter. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 272.36 crore in the January-March quarter a year ago.

    JB Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals: The drug firm said its consolidated profit after tax declined by 16 per cent to Rs 85 crore in the fourth quarter ended March. The company had reported a Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs 101 crore in the March quarter of 2020-21.

    Kirloskar Industries: The castings and forgings reported a consolidated loss of Rs 44.20 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022. The company had reported a profit of Rs 133.73 crore in the year-ago period.

    Union Bank of India:
    The State-owned lender said its board of directors has approved raising up to Rs 8,100 crore by issuing equity shares through various modes. The board of directors considered and approved raising of equity capital not exceeding Rs 3,800 crore, within the overall limit of Rs 8,100 crore.

    Berger Paints India: The paint manufacturer reported a 5.60 per cent increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 220.29 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2022. The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 208.60 crore in the January-March period a year ago.

    Motherson Sumi Wiring India: The auto components maker reported a 72.72 per cent decline in net profit at Rs 46.42 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 2022, impacted by higher expenses and an exceptional item outgo. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 170.16 crore in the same period previous fiscal.

    Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals: The state run fertilizer player posted a 91 per cent jump in its consolidated net profit at Rs 285.65 crore in the March quarter on robust income. The company had clocked a net profit of Rs 149.84 crore in the year-ago period.

    Insecticides India: The agrochemicals maker posted 2.52 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 22.33 crore for fourth quarter of 2021-22 on higher income. The company had logged a net profit of Rs 21.78 crore in the same quarter of previous fiscal year.

    Eros Media: The media and entertainment company said its subsidiary would raise around $54 million (Rs 405 crore) by public issuance of convertible warrants. The board of Eros International Media (EIML), a subsidiary of Eros Media, has recently approved plans to raise up to $54 million of equity capital via a public issuance of convertible warrants in India.

    Shalimar Paints: The paint make reported narrowing of its consolidated net loss to Rs 12.73 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2022. The company had posted a loss of Rs 28.56 crore in the January-March period a year ago.

    Garware Hi-Tech Films:
    The specialty performance polyester films manufacturer, formerly Garware Polyester, reported a 41.88 per cent growth in consolidated profit after tax at Rs 45.12 crore during the quarter ended March 31, 2022. It had posted a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 31.80 crore in the corresponding quarter of 2020-21.

    Goodluck India: The steel products maker reported three-fold jump in consolidated net profit at Rs 24.30 crore for March quarter 2021-22 boosted by higher income. The company had clocked Rs 8.18 crore net profit in January-March 2020-21.

    RattanIndia Enterprises: The diversified firm said it has acquired 60 per cent stake in drone company Throttle Aerospace Systems (TAS). The investment in TAS has been done through NeoSky India Ltd (NeoSky), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company.

    Aurum Proptech: The IT enables services, formerly known as Majesco, announced the acquisition of data analytics player Careersocially for Rs 45 crore. This is a continuation of inorganic play for the BSE-listed Aurum under its new promoters and takes the overall amount committed for such acquisitions to Rs 233 crore.

    Swelect Energy Systems:
    The power player posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 12.29 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022. The company had reported a loss of Rs 4.46 crore in the quarter ended on March 31, 2021.

    Jet Airways: The grounded airline for over two years reported a standalone net loss of Rs 233.63 crore for the three months ended March. The full service carrier had a standalone net loss of Rs 107.01 crore in the year-ago period.
