Zee Ent. shares drop 2.15% as Sensex falls

Shares of the Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. traded at Rs 225.2 on BSE at 01:58PM (IST) on Thursday, down 2.15 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 200.5 and a high of Rs 318.45.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap down opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 30.87 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 7.29 per share and 2.55 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 152,074 shares changed hands on the counter till 01:58PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 21611.69 crore and is part of the TV Broadcasting & Software Production industry.

The scrip has been an underperformer , down 29.09 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 0.68 per cent fall in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 229.2 and Rs 224.75.

Promoters held 0.22 per cent in the company as of 31-Dec-2022. FII and MF ownership in Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. stood at 39.18 per cent and 21.42 per cent, respectively.
