Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Embassy Office(Rs. 117.44 crore), Adani Ent.(Rs. 89.59 crore), InterGlobe(Rs. 52.15 crore), Krishna Institute(Rs. 32.54 crore), Suzlon Energy(Rs. 24.06 crore), Adani Wilmar(Rs. 23.58 crore), Nestle India(Rs. 23.17 crore), Adani Power(Rs. 20.87 crore), Adani Green(Rs. 18.80 crore) and Adani Ports SEZ(Rs. 17.43 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:30AM in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 34.1 points down at 18251.3, while BSE Sensex was down 114.6 points at 61659.18 as of 10:30AM(IST)on May 25.

In the Nifty index, Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 2.42 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 2.13 per cent), ITC Ltd.(up 1.48 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 1.32 per cent) and Britannia Industries Ltd.(up 1.11 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 2.40 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 1.61 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.58 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 1.06 per cent) and Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd.(down 0.89 per cent) were among the top losers.
