NEW DELHI: Around 56 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Monday's session.
Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Ajanta Pharma, Aurobindo Pharma, Akash Infra-Projects, Ambuja Cements, Balaxi Ventures, Cadila Healthcare, Deepak Nitrite, HCL Technologies, Karda Constructions, Laurus Labs, Cipla, Divi's Laboratories, MindTree, Tata Communications, Persistent Systems and Natco Pharma.
Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 122.85 points down at 10950.60 on Monday on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Overall, 16 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 34 were trading in red.
In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Motors, Titan Company , Tata Steel, JSW Steel and Eicher Motors were among top gainers.
While UPL , Kotak Bank, IndusInd Bank, HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd. and Indian Oil Corp were trading in red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 449.94 points down at 37156.95.
