Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 6.95 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 3.15 crore), Vikas Ecotech (number of shares traded: 3.01 crore), Zomato Ltd.(number of shares traded: 2.71 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 2.49 crore), PNB(number of shares traded: 2.47 crore), Tata Steel(number of shares traded: 2.31 crore), SAIL(number of shares traded: 1.95 crore), Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd.(number of shares traded: 1.67 crore) and FSN E-Comm(Nykaa)(number of shares traded: 1.46 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:55AM in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 53.35 points down at 18112.0, while BSE Sensex was down 169.86 points at 60875.88 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, UPL Ltd.(up 1.48 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 1.31 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.24 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 0.89 per cent) and Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 0.60 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 3.88 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(down 1.43 per cent), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 1.26 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 1.18 per cent) and IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 1.08 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
