Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Karnataka Bank, GRSE, Varun Beverages, Varanium Cloud Ltd. and AVSL Industries, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:45AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 5.1 points to 18087.95 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Manali Petro, Jai Balaji Inds, Rel Capital, Williamson Magor and Narmada Agrobase, touched their fresh 52-week low.

Overall, 28 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 21 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Auto, Axis Bank, Bharti Airtel, ITC and Titan Company were among top gainers, while Tech Mahindra, Hindalco, TCS, Tata Motors and M&M traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 21.36 points up at 60927.45 at 10:45AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in IT - Hardware, Rubber, Sugar, Defence and Industrial Equipment sectors, while selling was visible in Learning & Education, NBFC, Glass, Miscellaneous and IT Enabled Services sectors.
