Stock market update: Realty stocks mixed; Brigade Ent jumps over 5%

NEW DELHI: Realty stocks were trading on a mixed note at 12:42PM (IST) on Thursday.

Shares of Brigade Enterprises (up 5.31 per cent), DLF (up 2.82 per cent), Sunteck Realty (up 1.47 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (up 1.36 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate (up 0.84 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Oberoi Realty (down 1.97 per cent), Omaxe (down 1.63 per cent), Godrej Properties (down 1.61 per cent) and Phoenix Mills (down 1.01 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.43 per cent up at 221.3 around 12:42PM.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 112.05 points at 11296.35, while the BSE Sensex was down 431.85 points at 38182.94.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 13 were trading in the green, while 36 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, Zee Ent., Tata Power, Ashok Leyland and NTPC were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of ABB Power Products, Essel Propack, Aditya Birla Fashion (PP), JSPL and Torrent Power hit their fresh 52 week high in today's trade, while CKP Leisure Ltd., SMVD Poly Pack Ltd. and CKP Products Ltd. hit fresh 52 week low in trade.
