Yasho Industries has acquired a 42-acre land parcel at Payal Industrial Park of Gujarat-based business conglomerate Arete Group.

The company plans to invest around Rs 350 crore for Phase-1 as the capex investment and will be developing a specialty and fine chemicals manufacturing plant.

Payal Industrial Park is a privately-integrated industrial park in Dahej, Gujarat, that is spread over 3,500 acres of area earmarked for large-scale industrial development, logistics parks and utilities.

It’s developed within the Gujarat PCPIR (Petroleum, Chemicals and Petrochemicals Investment Region) – as declared by government of India under PCPIR Policy 2007, and surrounded by fast-growing industrial projects within Gujarat PCPIR. The park has been approved by the government of Gujarat with world-class infrastructure facilities.

With the recent deal in place with PIP, Yasho Industries will have access to manpower, close proximity to vendors and other ancillary products by being a part of the industrial cluster.

Securing a deal with the ideal hub for water-intensive and polluting industries such as chemical, agro-chemical, fertiliser, dyes intermediates, pigments, chlor-alkali, polymer, rubber, metals etc., Yasho will have an upper hand in the Indian market. It is bound to get more traction by the day, given the advantages of the location and amenities.

“Building something from ground up comes with its own ups and downs, and regardless of those obstacles, we, at Arete, have established ourselves in the industry. We have created our own rapport in the Indian market and led with ethical conduction of operations while striving for mutual growth. We envision to contribute to the industry and help it evolve while making it reach an elevated stature globally,” said Siraj Saiyed, Director, Arete Group.

The company is in talks with other industries as well for the land deal.

Arete Group is also focusing on other significant projects that shall take the industry by storm as it delves deeper into industrial park and infrastructure and strives to change the landscape of the sector.
