Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Friday at 10:25AM

Madras Fertlizers(up 2.14%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 1.39%), Sikko Industries(up 1.01%), National Fertilizer(up 0.93%), ZUARIAGRO(up 0.85%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 0.84%), Paradeep Phosphates(up 0.38%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 0.31%), Aries Agro(up 0.22%) and Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 0.20%) were among the top gainers.

G S F C(down 2.53%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 1.87%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (down 1.61%), Rama Phosphates(down 1.37%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 1.00%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 0.85%), KRISHANA(down 0.41%), Coromandel International(down 0.19%) and Agro Phos(down 0.14%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 64.95 points up at 18386.1, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 209.72 points at 62082.34 at around 10:25AM.

Reliance Industries(up 1.89%), Divis Laboratories(up 1.58%), Hindalco Industries(up 1.58%), Tech Mahindra(up 1.5%), Adani Enterprises(up 1.44%), Wipro(up 1.33%), UltraTech Cement(up 1.28%), UPL Ltd(up 1.23%), HCL Technologies(up 1.05%) and Infosys(up 0.99%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 1.6%), Grasim Industries(down 1.01%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.97%), Bharti Airtel(down 0.53%), Nestle India(down 0.44%), IndusInd Bank(down 0.43%), Axis Bank(down 0.37%), ICICI Bank(down 0.3%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 0.27%) and HDFC(down 0.27%) were trading in the red.
