Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Onward Tech, Shera Energy Ltd., Naga Dhunseri Group, Elecon Engg Co and Zensar Tech, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 17.8 points up at 18314.8 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as SITI Networks, De Neers Tools, BEML Land Assets, SEL Manufact and Virinchi, touched their fresh 52-week lows.

Overall, 23 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 27 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Eicher Motors, M&M, IndusInd Bank, Axis Bank and HUL were among top gainers during the day, while Hindalco, BPCL, Power Grid, NTPC and UltraTech Cem. ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 123.38 points up at 62027.9.

Traders piled up positions in Learning & Education, Telecommunications, Industrial Equipment, Hospitals & Allied Services and Aquaculture sectors, while selling was witnessed in Media & Entertainment, Sugar, Metals - Non Ferrous, Power and Cables sectors during the day.
