Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: RIL(Rs. 2335.82 crore), Infosys(Rs. 1737.42 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 972.61 crore), Bharti Airtel(Rs. 931.40 crore), HDFC(Rs. 882.12 crore), HCL Tech(Rs. 877.80 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 845.05 crore), Tata Steel(Rs. 828.67 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 738.94 crore) and Kotak Bank(Rs. 706.63 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 98.4 points up at 17956.6, while BSE Sensex rose 303.15 points to 60261.18.

In the Nifty index, IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 2.09 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 2.03 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 1.99 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 1.89 per cent) and Infosys Ltd.(up 1.56 per cent) stood among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Titan Company Ltd.(down 1.20 per cent), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 0.56 per cent), Nestle India Ltd.(down 0.45 per cent), ITC Ltd.(down 0.33 per cent) and Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 0.29 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
