    Our govt believes in the concept of 'reforms by conviction' not 'by compulsion': PM Modi addressing CII

    ​​Prime Minister Narendra was addressing the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Annual Meeting 2021. The theme of the meeting is India@75: Government and Business working together for Aatmanirbhar Bharat.

    Prime Minister Narendra Modi today listed the various areas in which his government has worked to bring about fundamental changes. Ease of doing business has improved, MSME sector is being promoted and we have passed a few key reforms this session, added PM Modi.

    "Marking a true shift from overdependence on the bureaucracy to streamlining processes, Centre has played its part as a facilitator in bringing about development," said the Prime Minister.

    Prime Minister Narendra was addressing the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Annual Meeting 2021. The theme of the meeting is India@75: Government and Business working together for Aatmanirbhar Bharat.

    "The New India is ready and committed to growing with the new world. India, which was once apprehensive of foreign investment, is today welcoming all types of investments. India is taking major leaps in ease of doing business ranking today" said the Prime Minister. India has seen record Foreign Direct Investment. The country’s Forex reserve is at an all-time high, added PM Modi.

    Speaking on the growth of unicorns, he said "India now has 60 unicorns, 21 of them reaching that status in last few months".
