    Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

    NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

    Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Tranway Technologies(19.58%), Indbank Merc(19.28%), Comfort Commo(17.54%), BSL Ltd(17.43%), Deccan GoldMine(15.96%) and Rossell India(15.45%).

    The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 762.1 points up at 62272.68, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 216.85 points up at 18484.1.

    In the Nifty50 index, 43 stocks closed in the green, while 7 stocks ended in the red.

    Meanwhile, stocks such as Deccan GoldMine, Bikaji Foods International Ltd., Humming Bird Educat, DJ Mediaprint & Logi and Billwin Industries L hit their fresh 52-week high, while JBF Industries, Jayatma Enterprises, FutureLifestyleFash, Amit Intnl and Jump Networks touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
