ReutersNEW DELHI: Adani Ent.(Rs. 3452.76 crore), RIL(Rs. 2465.62 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 2258.38 crore), Adani Ports SEZ(Rs. 2027.92 crore), Ambuja Cements(Rs. 1633.41 crore), HDFC(Rs. 1503.81 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 1493.95 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 1467.75 crore), Infosys(Rs. 1442.17 crore) and Adani Green(Rs. 1315.00 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Tuesday's session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 13.2 points up at 17662.15, while BSE Sensex rose 49.49 points to 59549.9.
In the Nifty index, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 3.54 per cent), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 2.87 per cent), State Bank of India(up 2.84 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 2.80 per cent) and Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 2.62 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 2.25 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 2.18 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 2.04 per cent), Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 2.02 per cent) and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 1.64 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
