Stock market update: Nifty Realty index 0.0% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded around 10:55AM(IST)on Friday in an upbeat market.

Indiabulls Real Estate(up 6.76 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 0.86 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises(up 0.79 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Oberoi Realty(down 0.92 per cent), DLF(down 0.9 per cent), Godrej Properties(down 0.6 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects(down 0.08 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was 0.0 per cent at 410.8 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 102.45 points at 16730.45, while the BSE Sensex was up 449.31 points at 56267.42.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 21 were trading in the green, while 29 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, Suzlon Energy, Zomato Ltd., Ibull Housing Fin and YES Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Aether Industries Ltd., Automotive Axle, Globesecure Technologies Ltd., Globe Intl. Carriers and Khandwala Sec hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Medico Remedies, Debock Sales & Mktg, Future Retail, Shree Cements and Future Enterprises hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
