NSE-BSE bulk deals: L&T Finance laps up Ballarpur Industries

Mumbai: Among the key bulk deals on Wednesday, L&T Finance purchased shares of Avantha group company Ballarpur Industries from Vistra ITCL India. Companies such as Indiabulls Housing Finance, Reliance Industrial Infrastructure and Ujjivan Financial Services also witnessed bulk deals during the day.

Of the frontline indices, Sensex rose 0.05 per cent or 18.75 points to close at 36,051.81, while Nifty climbed 0.10 per cent or 10.80 points to close at 10,618.20.

>> L&T Finance bought 12,80,52,000 shares of Ballarpur Industries from Vistra ITCL India at Rs 1.46 per share.

>> Arvindbhai Nandlal Dattani bought 84,000 shares of Add-shop Eretail at Rs 34.10 per share, while Shashank Pravinchandra Doshi sold 80,000 shares of the company at the same price.

>> Smeaton Developers sold 257,868 shares of Globalspace Technologies at Rs 70.62 per share.

>> Patel Niravkumar Vasantlal HUF sold 54,000 shares of Aakash Exploration Services at Rs 32.03 per share.

>> UMW India Ventures sold 4,36,895 shares of Oil Country Tubular at Rs 4.50 per share, while Raja Giridhar Kumar Nimmagadda bought 4,35,000 shares of the company at the same price. At the end of June quarter, UMW India held 8.86 per cent stake in the company.

>> Companies such as Indiabulls Housing Finance, Reliance Industrial Infrastructure and Ujjivan Financial Services also witnessed bulk deals during the day.
