    3M India adopts flexible workspaces with new headquarters at WeWork Prestige Central in Bengaluru

    The new office will serve as 3M’s headquarter at Wework Prestige Central in the central business district of Bangalore office market.

    3M, the India subsidiary of global technology firm, has signed a long term deal with WeWork that will provide the company’s 400 employees an option to work out of any WeWork locations, starting May 2021.

    The new office will serve as 3M’s headquarter at Wework Prestige Central in the central business district of Bangalore office market. 3M India has taken a 17,000 sq ft area of flexible workspace space for a 2-year period.

    The deal reaffirms the potential created by the consistently rising demand of flexible workspaces amongst enterprises due tot he outbreak of covid-19 pandemic globally.

    “In recent times we have seen an increased demand from all businesses, especially leading enterprises such as 3M who have recognised the inherent value offered by the flexible workspace model, ” said Santosh Martin, Chief Revenue Officer, WeWork India.


    In line with its long term growth strategy and aim for profitability, the flexible workspaces operator has recorded the highest ever quarterly sales with 10,000 desks totalling to 7 lakh sft sold in the Jan-March period. Currently enterprises forms over 60% of WeWork’s member base in India.

    WeWork has acquired over 5million sq ft of land in 35 locations, across NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune and Hyderabad, Since entering the Indian market in 2017.
