Vedanta shares drop 3.87% as Sensex falls

Shares of the Vedanta Ltd. traded at Rs 356.5 on BSE at 02:08PM (IST) on Wednesday, down 3.87 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 91.25 and a high of Rs 385.75.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap down opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 8.97 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 39.76 per share and 1.37 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 1,654,181 shares changed hands on the counter till 02:08PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 132555.23 crore and is part of the Diversified industry.

The scrip has been an outperformer , up 259.58 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 51.01 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 364.0 and Rs 348.4.
