Share market update: Realty shares rise; Indiabulls Real Estate climbs 4%

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading higher in Friday's session.

Shares of Indiabulls Real Estate (up 3.81 per cent) , Godrej Properties (up 2.65 per cent) , Prestige Estates Projects (up 2.46 per cent) , Phoenix Mills (up 2.4 per cent) , Oberoi Realty (up 0.97 per cent) , Sunteck Realty (up 0.96 per cent) , SOBHA (up 0.38 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises (up 0.3 per cent) were among the top gainers.

The Nifty Realty index was trading 1.09 per cent up at 203.25 around 12:10PM.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 66.45 points at 10618.15, while the BSE Sensex was up 223.14 points at 36066.84.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 37 were trading in the green, while 13 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, Motherson Sumi, BHEL, Tata Motors, Tata Power, BEL, SBI, Alok Industries and SAIL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
