Max Financial shares rise 0.48% as Sensex climbs

Shares of the Max Financial Services Ltd. traded at Rs 687.2 on BSE at 12:41PM (IST) on Tuesday, up 0.48 per cent from previous close.

The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 627.8 and a high of Rs 1081.0.

Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap down opening in the morning.

A total of 9,384 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 12:41PM (IST).

The stock of Max Financial Services Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 23666.25 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 78.84, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 6.61. Return on equity (ROE) was at 6.43 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 352 stocks traded in the green, while 149 stocks were in the red.

Promoters held 14.72 per cent in the Max Financial Services Ltd. as of 30-Sep-2022 while foreign and domestic institutional investors owned 45.62 per cent and 31.71 per cent, respectively.
