Stock market update: Nifty Realty index 0.0% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded around 11:20AM(IST)on Thursday in an upbeat market.

DLF(up 1.15 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises(up 0.9 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Indiabulls Real Estate(down 2.1 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(down 1.2 per cent), Macrotech Developers(down 0.75 per cent), Godrej Properties(down 0.49 per cent) and Phoenix Mills(down 0.46 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was 0.0 per cent at 418.6 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 15.75 points at 15982.4, while the BSE Sensex was up 53.52 points at 53567.67.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 27 were trading in the green, while 23 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, Suzlon Energy, Zomato Ltd., YES Bank and Brightcom Group were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Spacenet Enterprise, PC Jeweller, GRP Ltd, International Constructions Ltd. and DSJ Comm hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Suumaya Lifestyle, Sintex Plastics Tech, Arrow Greentech, TCS and Future Consumer hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
