Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Cubex Tubings, PPAP Automotive, FACT, Sarveshwar Foods and Adroit Infotech, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 82.25 points down at 18560.5 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as AAA Technologies, Rite Zone Chemcon India Ltd., Vaxtex Cotfab, Vital Chemtech Ltd. and Dhanuka Realty, touched their fresh 52-week lows.

Overall, 9 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 40 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Asian Paints, HUL, BPCL, L&T and Axis Bank were among top gainers during the day, while NTPC, SBI Life, Bajaj Finserv, IndusInd Bank and Tata Motors ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 215.68 points down at 62410.68.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Airlines, Building Materials, Engineering and FMCG sectors, while selling was witnessed in IT Enabled Services, Services, NBFC, Glass and Miscellaneous sectors during the day.
