Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 18.63 crore), Zomato Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 16.98 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 14.03 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 11.12 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 9.68 crore), Ambuja Cements(numbers of share traded: 9.10 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 7.06 crore), Adani Ports SEZ(numbers of share traded: 6.42 crore), Tata Motors(numbers of share traded: 6.34 crore) and Tata Steel(numbers of share traded: 5.88 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 287.6 points down at 17604.35, while BSE Sensex ended down 874.16 points at 59330.9.

On the other hand, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 18.52 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 16.29 per cent), State Bank of India(down 5.06 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd.(down 4.45 per cent) and IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 3.44 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
