Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Maruti Suzuki(Rs. 980.76 crore), RIL(Rs. 586.38 crore), Bandhan Bank(Rs. 568.53 crore), Dr. Reddys(Rs. 445.45 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 309.77 crore), Infosys(Rs. 303.59 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 285.15 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 279.91 crore), Bajaj Finance(Rs. 236.17 crore) and M&M(Rs. 233.94 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:00AM in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 163.1 points up at 17949.9, while BSE Sensex was up 567.36 points at 60527.21 as of 11:00AM(IST)on October 31.

In the Nifty index, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 3.10 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 2.71 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 2.07 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 2.00 per cent) and UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 1.93 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 1.15 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.87 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(down 0.55 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(down 0.54 per cent) and IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 0.14 per cent) were among the top losers.
