Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks mixed as market falls

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading mixed on Tuesday at 11:11AM

Agro Phos(up 6.61%), Paradeep Phosphates(up 5.48%), Madras Fertlizers(up 4.47%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(up 2.00%), National Fertilizer(up 1.80%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 0.61%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 0.50%), KRISHANA(up 0.29%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 0.19%) and Aries Agro(up 0.18%) were among the top gainers.

ZUARIAGRO(down 1.60%), Coromandel International(down 1.27%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (down 0.81%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 0.79%), G S F C(down 0.65%), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(down 0.40%), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals(down 0.30%), Rama Phosphates(down 0.30%), Bohra Industries(down 0.26%) and Sikko Industries(down 0.24%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 45.9 points down at 18547.95, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 181.67 points at 62605.8 at around 11:11AM.

UltraTech Cement(up 1.71%), Maruti Suzuki(up 1.7%), Divis Laboratories(up 1.21%), Tata Motors(up 1.06%), Eicher Motors(up 1.06%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 1.04%), Hero MotoCorp(up 1.02%), Grasim Industries(up 1.01%), Axis Bank(up 0.85%) and Mahindra & Mahindra(up 0.81%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Tech Mahindra(down 3.24%), Infosys(down 2.3%), HCL Technologies(down 2.06%), Wipro(down 2.03%), Tata Consultancy(down 1.69%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 0.87%), Hindalco Industries(down 0.82%), Coal India(down 0.78%), Tata Steel(down 0.73%) and ICICI Bank(down 0.73%) were trading in the red.
