Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Manaksia Ltd, Automotive Axle, IIFL Finance, Axita Cotton and KPIT Tech, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 13.2 points up at 17662.15 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Uma Converter Ltd., Heranba Industries Ltd., Aarti Pharmalabs Ltd., Hubtown Ltd and BKM Industries, touched their fresh 52-week lows.

Overall, 23 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 26 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, M&M, UltraTech Cem., SBI, Adani Ent. and Adani Ports SEZ were among top gainers during the day, while Bajaj Finance, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Britannia and Sun Pharma ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 49.49 points up at 59549.9.

Traders piled up positions in Agro Processing, IT - Hardware, Term Lending Institutions, Fertilisers and Trading sectors, while selling was witnessed in Glass, Textiles, Infrastructure, FMCG and Auto Ancillaries sectors during the day.
