    Traders' body CAIT raised objections over Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail's plans to raise Rs 1,500 crore by issuing 7.8 per cent stake to Walmart-owned Flipkart Group.

    Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange traded 37.50 points, or 0.32 per cent, lower at 11,850, in signs that Dalal Street was headed for a negative start on Wednesday. Here are a few stocks which may buzz the most in today's trade:

    Earnings Today: Axis Bank, Larsen & Toubro, Titan Company, Dr Reddy's Labs, Hero MotoCorp, Marico, PI Industries, GSK Pharma and ICICI Securities are among companies that will disclose their Septemebr quarter results today.

    Tata Motors: The Tata Group company' consolidated net loss widened to Rs 307 crore in the September quarter due to the pandemic, but it expects gradual recovery of demand and supply in the coming months. The auto major had reported a net loss of Rs 187.7 crore during the July-September period previous fiscal.

    Bharti Airtel: The country's second largest telecom operator reported its highest-ever quarterly consolidated revenue on the back of a rise in data usage and higher realisations, helping it narrow losses in the July-September period. Consolidated revenue rose 22 per cent to Rs 25,785 crore in the September quarter while net loss narrowed to Rs 763 crore.

    ICICI Prudential Life: The company reported a marginal rise in net profit at Rs 303 crore for September quarter of the current fiscal year. The life insurer had posted a net profit of Rs 302 crore during the similar period a year ago.

    Hero Moto Corp: The country's largest two wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson on Tuesday announced a wide ranging partnership for the Indian market, days after the US cult bike manufacturer announced its exit from the country.

    ABFRL: Traders' body CAIT raised objections over Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail's plans to raise Rs 1,500 crore by issuing 7.8 per cent stake to Walmart-owned Flipkart Group, alleging that the proposed deal violates the government's FDI policy.

    LVB: In the midst of completing its merger process with Clix group, private sector Lakshmi Vilas Bank (LVB) has broadened the search base for its new MD and CEO and is likely to send an updated list of candidates to RBI in about a month-and-half, a senior bank official said on Tuesday.

    JM Financial: The company reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 139.06 crore for the quarter to September, a growth of 7.31 per cent over the same period last fiscal, despite a 5.6 per cent decline in revenue due to the pandemic.

    Cochin Shipyard: The company said it has inked a pact with Italy's Fincantieri for cooperation in areas like shipbuilding and ship repair. Fincantieri is one of the world's largest shipbuilding groups and a leader in diversification and innovation with over 230 years of history and more than 7,000 vessels built, operating 18 shipyards in four continents.

    Media firm TV18 Broadcast: The company reported an over two-fold increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 115.55 crore for the September quarter. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 46.55 crore in the July-September period of the previous fiscal, TV18 Broadcast said in a regulatory filing.

    BPCL: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) on Tuesday launched a fully synthetic lubricant variant targeted at high-end motorcycles.
