Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 19.16 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 10.65 crore), Rail Vikas Nigam(numbers of share traded: 10.63 crore), HUDCO(numbers of share traded: 10.56 crore), Hind Const Co(numbers of share traded: 7.65 crore), Zomato Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 7.54 crore), South Indian Bnk(numbers of share traded: 6.95 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 6.50 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 6.07 crore) and JP Power(numbers of share traded: 5.98 crore) emerged top gainers in Wednesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 6.25 points up at 18409.65, while BSE Sensex ended up 107.73 points at 61980.72.

On the other hand, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 2.88 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 2.49 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 2.16 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 2.08 per cent) and JSW Steel Ltd.(down 1.95 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
