Sensex falls! These stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 628.27 points down at 54692.01 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, MPDL(down 15.47 per cent), Tierra Agrotech Ltd.(down 13.48 per cent), Margo Finance(down 12.52 per cent), B P Capital(down 12.10 per cent) and Prime Property(down 11.48 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 10 stocks traded in the green, while 40 stocks traded in the red.

The Nifty index was trading 177.2 points down at 16300.9.

On the BSE, Medplus Health Services Ltd., Xelpmoc Design, NMDC, Deccan Cements and Sical Logistics hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Marathon Nextgen, Aroma Enterpris, Kohinoor Foods, Sharpline Broadcast Ltd. and Step Two Corp touched their fresh 52-week highs.
