    India Inc's health dose: Vedanta boss discusses yoga with Sri Sri Ravi Shankar on video call; Gautam Adani joins staff for fitness session

    Known for its healing techniques and exercises, yoga can transform people's lives. Many personalities swear by yoga to stay healthy.

    On International Day of Yoga, India Inc bosses took to Twitter to share their yoga moment of the day.

    Gautam Adani, Chairman of Adani Group, spent the morning performing yoga asanas with his colleagues and philanthropist-wife Priti Adani, who is chairperson of Adani Foundation.

    In the two-minute-20-second-long video, one of India's richest men was seen performing Bhujangasana (cobra pose), Pranayama (breathing exercise), Trikonasana (triangle pose), and Konasana (sideways bending pose), among others.

    "This International Yoga Day, it was my privilege to participate with my Adani Parivaar team in the morning celebrating mindfulness and meditation. Together with Adani Foundation my wish for everyone is to imbibe yoga in this journey for a healthier nation," his post read.


    Anil Agarwal, Chairman of Vedanta Resources Limited, shared that he spent his morning talking to Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. The spiritual leader enlightened the businessman on the benefits of yoga.

    "... yoga helps us reconnect with our bodies & direct attention to our health, diet, and energy. As a yoga practitioner myself, it was great to exchange ideas this Yoga Day with Gurudev," his post read.


    Marico Chairman Harsh Mariwala shared a nine-second video of himself sitting cross-legged on the floor with his grandchildren, chanting 'Om Shanti Shanti'.

    The businessman often spends quality time with his grandkids and loves to keep his fans updated about the same. "Love my Dada duties. Throwback to the three of us doing yoga," he wrote in his post.


    Health platform GOQii founder Vishal Gondal, who is hopeful to transform fitness in the metaverse, shared a string of pictures of the perfect headstand, also known as Sirsasana.

    "Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self. I love taking this journey upside-down," he tweeted.


    He said that the International Day of Yoga will soon come to the metaverse.

    This year's theme is 'Yoga for Humanity'. Experts believe yoga has the ability to keep the mind, body and soul healthy.
