Shutterstock.comNEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red on Friday amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Porwal Auto Comp(12.4%) and R&B Denims(12.34%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 561.13 points down at 58558.59, while the 50-share Nifty index fell 157.6 points to 17472.2.
In the Nifty 50 index, 12 stocks traded in the green, while 38 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as Sonal Mercantile, Autoline Ind, Regency Ceramic, Jindal Poly Investm and Kush Industries hit their fresh 52-week high, while Gennex Labs(PP), Shubham Polyspin, Marsons Ltd, Sathavahana Isp and A F Enterprises touched their new 52-week low in trade.
