    Sensex falls! These stocks fell 5% or more in Wednesday's session

    NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 185.24 points down at 55381.17 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

    On the BSE, S R G Sec. Fin.(down 19.88 per cent), Dr. Lalchandani Labs(down 19.28 per cent), Riddhi Steel and Tub(down 14.57 per cent), Suyog Gurbaxani Funicular Ropeways Ltd.(down 12.63 per cent) and Ecoboard Ind(down 10.00 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

    In the Nifty pack, 17 stocks closed in the green, while 33 stocks ended in the red.

    The index closed 61.8 points down at 16522.75.

    On the BSE, Kkalpana lndustries, Tierra Agrotech Ltd., Future Enterprises, My Money Securit and BFL Asset Finvest hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Timken India, HBL Power, Rolex Rings, Parshva Enterprises and Raymond touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
